In March of 2019 I traveled to Colombia for Verve Coffee Roasters to meet and document the work of various producers around the country. Amparo Maya is a coffee producer based in Nariño, Colombia. We toured her farm with daylight fading and the fog rolling in, and talked about her connection with coffee and dreams for the future. It was an absolute honor to meet Amparo Maya and to highlight her special coffee.
